COVID-19 PROTECTION AND PATIENT CARE STRATEGIES

Your health - At this moment, you, the Patient, state that you are not exhibiting any symptoms of COVID19 infection such as cough, fever, loss of smell or taste and you have not been in contact with anyone who has such symptoms in the last the last 2 weeks.

Staff Health - At this moment, I, Daraius Cooper, Osteopath (GOsC 1/251/F), state that I am not exhibiting any symptoms of COVID19 infection and I have not been in contact with anyone who has a cough, fever, loss of smell or taste in the last the last 2 weeks.

Hygiene - I, the practitioner, am washing my hands and forearms between every patient

and I shall be wearing a clinical mask. I wear a fresh clinic coat and gloves for each patient.

The patient is expected to wear a mask

and is given hand sanitiser prior to their treatment and when leaving at the front door.

All contact-sections of the bench, and all seating are disinfected between every patient.

All hard contact-surfaces are wiped with alcohol-disinfectant between every patient.

All commonly handled items (door handles, card machine, keyboards etc.) are disinfected between every patient.

All floors are disinfected at least once a day.

Distancing - I, the practitioner, am in social isolation outside of work.

Patients are booked at least 15 minutes apart to avoid interaction, and to allow time for extra cleaning measures and ventilating the room.

High Risk - Those in a high risk demographic (aged over 70, pregnant, or immune compromised) wishing to attend are recommended to have a prior discussion with me.

COVID-19 - Whilst it is currently thought that people are more contagious when they are most symptomatic, it is possible some spread might be possible before people show symptoms.
