What to expect

Treating people of all ages for a wide range of problems

Osteopathy for Adults

As adults we gain skills at managing work, recreation & home life. Overwork or excessive stress in any of these areas can lay the foundations for upset and pain, which the patient so often reports as having occurred for 'no apparent reason.' Understanding those factors whilst handling the person through the frame of the body, is essential for success.

Osteopathy for Children & Newborns

Growing a baby in the uterus can be affected by adverse physical and metabolic strains. During the birth process the baby's body is designed to 'mould' to physical forces of the birth process and if that journey is excessively stressful, the baby's body may have 'retained moulding'  often effecting the head. Such retained stresses are not always visual but the Osteopath can use expert touch to feel & assess & help restore balance function, so often relieving a range of complaints.

Osteopathy for Later Years

Whilst the ageing process is not reversible, Osteopathy can work to find the most efficient pathway for the body to work to its full potential. Improving quality of life.

Osteopathy for 'Mums to Be'

Pregnancy is a time of great physiological change which should not bring discomfort. Osteopathy is a gentle and natural way to help.

The journey of a baby before and during delivery is designed to be a smooth one. A great variety of strains can disturb this pathway, and osteopathy can often help.
